The following areas are priorities for 2020/21:
- To raise standards in reading, writing and maths to increase the percentage of pupils working at age related expectations at the end of each key stage.
- To improve the quality of teaching of early reading and phonics in order to improve outcomes.
- To continue to use a consistent approach to assessment for all pupils.
- To provide a creative curriculum that is rich in learning experiences, which gives children a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning.
- To support pupils in their emotion well-being, so they understand how to keep themselves safe at all times.
- To secure good behaviour for all pupils.
- For Governors to work closely with school leaders to continue to make rapid and effective improvements.
